Meet Me
About Me
Hello, welcome to my website and my about me page.
I’ve never been good at writing things like this. It’s ironic really, I can write a book but to tell people about myself, my mind goes blank. Here I am rambling now instead of getting to the point.
I’m not going to turn this into my own personal wiki page but I can give you a few details from my mostly boring life that made me what I am today.

Like most kids, I began drawing and writing at a young age. I could show little doodles or quick stories to the adults in my life. With their critiques and support, I continued to learn and improve. I still live this way today. I am never done trying to improve my craft.

My Drawing Adventure
At a young age, younger than 10, I lived with my mom at my grandmother’s home. Being the percocious kid I was, I of course ended up going through the adult’s things, mainly old saved papers. This is where I came across drawings done by my uncle and my mother when they were in school and I was immediately blown away. My mom’s was my first experience with perspective. like most kids at that point I was still drawing very static two dimensial drawings.
I still remember my uncle’s drawing having more of an effect. It was of the Looney Tunes character, Taz the Tasmanian Devil. I remember becoming a big fan of the character just because I enjoyed drawing him. This is where my aptitude for recreating pictures from sight began to build. I’ll admit it has wained in my older age since I did not hone it like I should have but it is still there. this is why my style has become an amalagamation of a few styles I have come across throughout my life. Cartoons, realism, anime, and modern comics these days are my main source of artistic inspiration.

My Writing Adventure

My writing evolved along a different path. I will openly admit that in school, or even now, I did not read that many books. I did not grow up immersing myself into the proper structures of writing. I am sure that is quite eveident by now, even with using modern grammar assistance. I did take some writing courses while in school, but I will leave it up to you on whether they helped or not.
That being said, I have always had a vivid imagination. I grew up watching television and movies, and sure, some may have something to say about that but to me, it was a gift. It opened my mind to many worlds, many possibilities, and my imagination was allowed to flourish. My writing was born from anything that was too grand for my artistic abilities. My mind is always overflowing with new characters, new worlds, new adventures to send my readers on.
I know I’m not the best at anything I do, there is room to grow in all of us, as the cliche goes. It is true though. I hope to never stop honing my skills and bringing things to you that, as I always say…

I hope you enjoy
